These weirdos bring me so much joy. They are egg casings from a banded tulip shell. I love coming across a cluster of them while diving and checking to see if the shells are still developing. The texture of the casing is rubbery squishy when wet. These were molded using silicone and injected with wax to create multiples. I cast them in solid sterling silver and clustered them in a trio from hand fabricated french ear wires. Each earring weighs ~6 grams so they have a nice weight but aren’t TOO heavy.
