Feather Drop Sterling Silver Earrings
These elegant drops are made using the lost wax casting process. I hand carved the originals from wax, cast them, made a rubber mold, and cast multiples.
The shapes were inspired by feathers, pods, and swimming fish. The design is the same on both sides so these look great from all angles. I love to wear these earrings; for some reason, the shape is satisfying to squeeze between my fingers.
They currently come in three sizes measuring from 1 3/4" to 2 1/2". They are lightweight and feature contrasting textures; brushed and high polish, to create visual interest. I created this custom ear wire shape to complement the drop form. Ear wires are 20 gauge sterling silver.
